He's got the dark, mysterious and brooding persona required to play a vampire, so perhaps casting Adam Lambert as one of the blood suckers in "The Twilight Saga" isn't the worst idea I've ever heard. Snagging a role in the tween-tastic franchise seemed to be on the top of Adam's agenda as he got up close and personal with "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke at the Hollywood Life Awards, where he won Young Hollywood Artist of the Year.

Unfortch for this "American Idol," being sequestered for months at behest of the reality competition has prevented him from discovering that Catherine isn't involved with any of the future installments. But in true Adam fashion, he brushed off the bad news...or rather, licked it off.
